How do i find desktop and screensaver application on my mac leopard?

i went into my system preferences and i couldn't find the screensaver stuff and i been looking through my WHOLE laptop and in the spotlight crap and i still can't find it i need help i want to change my background pleassseee thank youuuuuuuuuu!How do i find desktop and screensaver application on my mac leopard?
Go directly to its location, rather than use Spotlight. In a Finder window, go to System / Library / PreferencePanes. If it is there, double-click to open it. If it is not there, or it won't open, use Pacifist, link below, to extract it from the Leopard DVD and put it at System / Library / PreferencePanes.
