A virus previously on my computer prevented me from changing my screensaver. How can I change it back?

A few months ago, my computer got a virus in the form of a fake anti-virus program. It changed my background and screensaver to faux Windows alerts that I have a virus, and when I go into my Display settings, the Screensaver tab has been completely removed. This screensaver frequently puts my computer into standby mode, and I want to change it but I can't find any way to do so. I was able to change the background to my computer only because I used a picture from the internet and right-clicked it, and set the image as my background this way.A virus previously on my computer prevented me from changing my screensaver. How can I change it back?
My computer caught a virus, now I can't change my screen saver.
