How can I change the screensaver on my computer?

I was fooling around on Craig's List and all of a sudden a picture of the outside of a house appeared when I got out of the site and it remains as my background. I want to change it back to what it was before, but I don't know how! Can someone help me - I'm pretty computer illiterate and I don't even know how I got in this predicament! How can I change the screensaver on my computer?
okay first you need to get to the main screen of your computer

then you right click, click where it says propeties

then it will say desktop click on that..

then it will show different screen savers click the one you want click save close it out and it should be fixed. How can I change the screensaver on my computer?
Through the Control Panel, Display options for the Desktop
First right click on the desktop area and click on Properties. Then click on the Screen Saver Tab and under the Screen Saver Box choose a suitable option and set the number of minutes on the Wait Box for the screen saver to appear on your screen after the screen is ideal without use and then click on the Preview Button if you want to view your screen saver or else click on the OK Button to set it.
Left click on your desktop.

Left click on Properties.

Left click on Screen Saver.

Choose the screen saver you want.

Have fun but be safe!
Just go to the start button ...than control panel...than display you'll see it there. Good Luck!
Ok well for starters you got in that predicament by clicking on ';make this picture my desktop background!'; To change this presuming your using windows XP you go to start%26gt; control panel%26gt;Apperance and thems%26gt;

Once your on the screen that says Apperance and thems you will see options of changing your destop back ground. Once you click that the pages should be self explainatory.

IF it really is screen saver you wish to change you will find that option there as well.

In the future be carefull what you click on. Also may I suggest that because you don't know alot about computers that you run on a limited user account to protect your own computer. This does not limit what you can do online but it does limit what goes on with things like what just happened with your ';unwanted pic'; There is higher than normal virus alerts going on all over the net recently so I hope your using some sort of anti-virus as well as a good firewall. To create a new user account you simply go to user accounts the same was as discribed above Start%26gt;control pannel%26gt; User accounts.

It sounds like your running on an admin account currently, By switching this to another account of your own as a secondary account with limited user rights this prevents unwanted changes from being made on your computer. You will not be able to download things of the net with this account Nor will you be able to change settings within your computer. But you can always go onto your admin account to do these things when the need arises.

Good luck and I hope that helps you out some :)
