How can I access screensavers without using control panel or through desktop?

Screensaver tab is missing when I go to display properties. This is caused by an entry in the system registry that hides the option for changing the screensaver. I am on a network with limited privilages so cannot edit the system registry. Is there another way of getting into the screensaver setup menu?

The screensaver has been disabled in system registry so 'right-click no the desktop' will not find it. Also I have found screensavers but there is no option to right click and set as current.How can I access screensavers without using control panel or through desktop?
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssstars.scr /s

Edit later

Click the Windows ';Start'; button and click ';Run'; or ';Start Search'; (Windows Vista users). Type ';regedit'; (without quotes) and click ';OK'; to open the registry.

Step 2Click ';HKEY_USERS'; and click ';.DEFAULT.'; Click ';Control Panel'; and click ';Desktop.';

Step 3Double-click ';SCRNSAVE.EXE'; on the right panel and type in the name of the screensaver in the ';Edit string'; dialogue box.

Step 4Click ';File'; on the top menu and click ';Exit'; to close the registry.

Change the Logon Screen Saver Timeout Time

Step 1Open the registry by following step 1 in section 1.

Step 2Click ';HKEY_USERS'; and click ';.DEFAULT.'; Click ';Control Panel'; and click ';Desktop.';

Step 3Double-click the ';ScreenSaveTimeOut'; on the right panel. In the ';Edit strings'; box, select the number of seconds after which your screensaver will begin when your computer has been idle. For example, if you want your screensaver to launch when your computer has been idle for 10 minutes, type ';600'; seconds. Click ';OK'; to save your changes after adjusting the time settings.

Step 4Click the ';File'; button located on the top menu and click ';Exit'; to close the registry. Your screensaver will automatically begin after it has been idle for the time that you selected.How can I access screensavers without using control panel or through desktop?
It's going to be control panel%26gt;display

Or richt click on to the desktop%26gt;properties or personalise
R/click desktop......c/Personalise
I have read the whole question. I'm not sure why you're trying to change something on a PC where someone has made quite a bit of effort to stop you. Why not ask the person who set the PC up to allow you to change the screensaver?
