Yeah, I'd say that ';restriction'; was set by that piece of software or (shudder!) yet another like it.
To get rid of Antivirus Pro, I'd suggest you get a real anti-virus. I use Norton (Symantec), but a free one that seems to get good press around here is AVG.
And while you're in the mode, an anti-adware package and an anti-spyware package would also be a good idea. I suggest you download Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S%26amp;D (they檙e free), install them, update them and run them.
If any of the above don't seem to be able to get rid of everything they report finding, try running them again, this time in Safe Mode. Safe Mode prevents many instances of malware from loading and protecting itself against deletion of its files.
Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.
To get into Safe Mode:
1. Log out and reboot your machine.
2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key
3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.
4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. You may have to log in as Administrator to delete the bad files.
5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.
Update and run all three regularly.
Good luck.
